hope writers, hope entrepreneurs,
I have developed an opportunity with CAL and Tri-Arts Project for local authors in the Castle Rock area to showcase their books at a local book fair. September 5, 2025 will be the first event that I hope will be an annual or bi-annual event.

I also host workshops free and paid workshops online.

I enjoy reading fiction/non-fiction and children's books (to my grandsons); listening to fiction/non-fiction on walks and while driving; and spending time with my family.
I am offering a free Marketing Accountability group to CAL members on Mondays at noon. We discuss different topics and learn from one another, what has worked and what hasn't.

I would be happy to host a secondary group on a different day and time if CAL members show an interest. Feel free to reach out to me via email or in a text.

Biography

Julie Cordova

Author/Writing Coach/Entrepreneur

Mrs./Mom/Grandma

Superpower: She can transform trauma into triumph.

After witnessing a brutal stabbing just as the dream of being a writer was igniting her passions, Julie Cordova began writing in the genres of suspense, mystery, sci-fi, and horror. The Other Side of the Rainbow is her first published novel. The Other End of the Lie, published in July of 2025 is the second book in the McCloskey Trilogy.

She likes being unconventional, she decided to attend college when she was 37. She applied and was accepted to attend the University of Denver. She graduated Magna Cum Laude earning her BA in Communication. She then went on to earn her graduate liberal arts degree in art and culture - specializing in creative writing.

She currently lives her happily-ever-after with her husband, Phil. The couple live near their two sons in Colorado and relish the time they get to share with their grandsons while wishing they could spend more time with their granddaughter who lives in Portland. Julie enjoys reading and listening to books and novels in almost every genre, dancing, and sitting around a fire pit sharing stories and celebrating life.
