Barb Lundy: President
Barb Lundy joined CAL 15 years ago. She values the benefits of connecting with other writers. Barb worked in Social Services telling the stories of people who could not speak for themselves. She is a widely published poet and teaches strategic problem solving and critical thinking. Barb's most recent book, Connections Count, Master the Human Side of Business  focuses on skills businesses need today.


Lisa Reinicke: Co-President
Lisa is an award-winning best-selling children’s author, novelist & speaker. Her books focus on social issues. Her stories help children and parents start conversations being different and other challenging subjects. Lisa also works with charities that improve children’s lives physically, emotionally, and spiritually.


Jodi Bowersox: Membership
Jodi has worn many hats in her life--actress, seamstress, designer, business owner, homeschool teacher, kids' choir director, and artist--but she spends most of her time these days on her last passion, writing romance novels in multiple genres from faith fiction to suspense to time travel to sci fi.

As an award-winning watercolor artist, Jodi specializes in pet portraits, and as a seamstress, she creates women's vests out of men's ties. 

She lives in the heart of Colorado Springs with her husband and too many cats where the mountain views are spectacular!


Dan Ginsberg: Awards
Dan Ginsberg is a retired Denver Public School teacher with a diverse background in both science and art who began writing and illustrating activity books for children in the late 80’s. He’s been recognized with awards for his short stories and screenplays.
Today, Dan writes mystery novels and short stories in the Women’s Fiction genre while continuing to sculpt and paint in his Denver studio.


John Wilker: Communications
John Wilker runs his own conference planning and consulting company, 360|Conferences. He's also a Science Fiction writer with seven, almost eight books out in his popular Space Rogues series. He's married to his amazing wife, Nicole and they have two dogs; Paco and Winston.

Stan Moore’s preferred genre is historical fiction concentrating on Colorado c. 1900.    He is a husband, father, grandfather; a third generation Coloradan; a graduate of the University of Colorado; an author and historian; a Vietnam veteran; a retired small business owner; an amateur blacksmith, and an avid mountaineer, backpacker and desert rat.  Moore and his wife make their home near Denver with a cat that lets them stay there.


Pete CarlsonPete Carlson: Marketing
Pete's first novel, Ukrainian Nights received Finalist recognition in the prestigious Eric Hoffer Award. He is working on his second novel scheduled to be published late 2020. Pete moved to Denver from Minnesota in 2017 to develop a thirty-unit, luxury condominium project in Vail Village. The project is scheduled to complete in early 2021.


Stephanie Kroepfl
Stephanie Kroepfl: At Large

Stephanie spent the first twenty-five years of her career in corporate America where she worked in senior management positions in marketing and sales across numerous industries. She has worked for two non-profit companies and reported to their Boards. After her husband Jim and she decided to quit that life and move to beautiful Grand Lake, Stephanie served for eight years on their 500-home HOA as Treasurer and Vice President. She has also been Treasurer for the Grand County Council on Aging and a Board Member for the Grand County Library District.

In addition to working together in their real estate appraisal business, Stephanie and her husband are writing partners. Their first traditionally published YA novel “Merged” was released in September 2019. They are currently working on the edits for its sequel and are finalizing a Middle Grade novel that takes place in Grand County. Stephanie is excited about the opportunity to share her business skills and love for story with the Colorado Authors League.

Lydia Gil
Lydia Gil
Lydia is an award-winning author of bilingual children’s books. She teaches Spanish and Latin American literature at the University of Denver. Her research focuses on literary testimonies of atrocity and, more recently, on US immigrant literature. She is working on a historical novel set in 1950s Cuba.
