Women Writing the West has awarded the 2026 WILLA Literary Award in Mystery/Thriller to CAL member Skye Griffith for Bone Hash. Skye will receive the award at the organization’s annual convention.

Congratulations to Penny Hamilton! Colorado 150th/Grand County 150th local history book is now a National winner. Quite a bit of military history was included: General Eisenhower, World War I Spruce airplane division, Women’s Land Army of World War II and so much more. Of course, Emily Warner Field, Doc Susie and our wonderful RR history.
